Cleaning & Packout Technicians

Job Summary: As a Cleaning & Packout Technician your primary goal and duties will be to focus on the proper inventorying and packing of contents after a fire or mitigation loss. You will be on site after mitigation services are completed to pack out contents in preparation to be brought back to our warehouse and to be professionally cleaned and sanitized.

Overview:

• Carefully Pack customer contents for storage.


• Detail cleaning of customer contents to URS standards


• Deliver and unpack contents when customer site when or if required.


• Clean all areas of the facility.


• Assist Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment and supplies needed for each project.


• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)


• Assist other team members when needed and foster a positive working relationship with other departments.


• Other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

Daily:

• Vacuum,  Mop, Dust


• Inventory


• Packout


• Launder


• Wash & Dry Dishes


• Assist with content restoration after time of loss.


• Inventory of items removed from jobsites.


• Photo Documentation

Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/ As Needed:

• Inventory of jobsite


• Assess


• Label


• Box


• Assist with additional site cleanup.


• Discarding of debris


• Additional water extraction


• Removal of soiled materials.


• Discard of unsalvageable materials & items


• Take salvageable items back to contents room at warehouse for proper laundering.


• Site Cleaning


• Vacuuming


• Washing walls


• Scrubbing Floors


• Ordering of cleaning materials


• Content Manipulation


• Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, and that it arrives to work site.


• Pickup and Delivery of contents after completion of cleaning and laundering.


• Completion of all documents documenting inventory and work process.


• Report and broken or damaged items to Mitigation manager.


• Follow all proper safety protocols throughout the duration of the job.


• Manage/maintain content cleaning area and storage areas to highest level professional standard
