General Summary:

The Cleaning Crew is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the Edgeworks facility. The Cleaning Crew reports to the Assistant Operations Manager and works in collaboration with the Gym Operations Manager to ensure that the facilities and equipment provide the highest quality experience for customers and staff. This position requires a person to be self-motivated and attentive to detail.

Core Functions:

• 3 weekly cleaning shifts
  
  
  
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  
  
  • Vacuuming carpet
  
  
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, including restrooms
  
  
  • Restocking restrooms with toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.
  
  
  
  


• Completing special projects pertaining to gym cleanliness as needed


• Ongoing and regular communication with the Gym Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator about facility needs, concerns, etc.


• Stepping in to help belay for weekday pro-belays on a case-by-case basis

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail is a must


• Self-motivated and able to work independently


• Must be reliable


• To Rope Belay Certification preferred


• Professional cleaning experience preferred
