Cleanroom Cleaner – UniClean
Location\: Devens, MA
Shift Hours\: 4\:00AM – 4\:00PM or 4\:00PM – 4\:00AM 
Schedule\: 4 days per week, Monday – Sunday

Compensation\: The estimated hourly pay for this position ranges from $19.00 to $22.25 per hour. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Geographic differentials may apply depending on the location where the position is filled. There is no application deadline for this role; recruitment will remain open until the position is filled.

UniClean, a specialized division of UniFirst Corporation, provides cleanroom cleaning and garment services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, electronics, and other controlled environment industries. Our specialized services help customers maintain the strict cleanliness and contamination-control standards required in these critical environments. 

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Cleanroom Cleaners to join our team. In this role, you’ll perform specialized cleaning in customer cleanrooms and controlled environments, following specific procedures to maintain required cleanliness standards. No cleanroom experience is required. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in controlled environments based on customer-specific requirements.
• Follow proper hygiene and cleanroom practices to help prevent contamination.
• Follow customer-specific work instructions and cleaning procedures.
• Complete required cleaning records, forms, and documentation.
• Follow established procedures and requirements while working in controlled environments.

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing required cleanroom garments.
• Committed to quality and safety.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow work instructions, complete trainings, and safety requirements and communicate effectively with Team Partners, supervisors, and customers.
• Able to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and apply those skills using units of money, weight measurement, volume, and distance. 
• Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, housekeeping, environmental services, or other hands-on work is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. Team Partners must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Wear required cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment.
• Work in environments that may include wet and/or humid conditions.
• Follow specific cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and contamination-control requirements.
