Cleared Kubernetes DevOps Engineer

Our client is a premiere consultant in the DC-metro area guided by the mission of creating affordable, integrated data information systems for organizations around the world. A company with a desire to offer military veterans good careers in tech and hire "no jerks. " They are currently searching for a Cleared DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team in Lorton, Virginia. You will be responsible for leading the management and optimization of their Istio service mesh and applications running inside of it. As part of the infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of their microservices-based applications, including Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, and Bitbucket.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of leadership experience in a relevant business area or equivalent experience.
8+ years of demonstrated performance in related technology.
Expertise in developing solutions for complex IS compliance and security issues.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio.
Experience managing microservices-based applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
bility to document and troubleshoot issues in a production environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility required.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of leadership experience in a relevant business area.
Technical certifications in Azure.
Experience in application development on Azure.
Requirements Must be within driving distance of Lorton, VA OR willing to relocate there (Relocation Assistance Package Available)
Must be willing to work onsite
Must be willing and able to travel frequently
Must possess an active Top Secret Security Clearance or above
