Clerical Assistant - Innovative Company

Exceptional Mail Sorter opportunity in the Chicago area for an entry level professional wanting to grow within their career!

Duties include receiving incoming mail bins and sorting mail into trays for processing. Work Schedule: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts available. Pay $20-23 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review received mail dates, addresses, barcodes, and other postage information.
• Inspect mail for tampering and damage.
• Sort and categorize mail by hand and operate mail processing machines and postage meters.
• Scanning packages for logging and updating mail database records.
• Report any issues with mail or machinery to supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School or GED completed

• Effectively manage own time and take accountability

• 1+ years of hands-on relevant experience of administrative and clerical process

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
