Clerical Assistant Temporary Position

Harvest Preparatory Academy is a K-12 Charter School located in Yuma, Arizona. We are currently accepting applications for a Temporary Clerical Assistant position in our District Office location. Harvest Preparatory Academy prides itself on excellence; we are looking for a candidate that will enhance our level of excellence and take pride in their work.

Looking for a dependable, punctual, and clerically strong individual. Must have good customer service skills; who is interested in possible advancement. Position will start at 30hrs per week with potential for growth.  This assignment is temporary and expected to last approximately three to six months, but has the potential to turn full time.

Duties:

Completes data entry, filing, reports, assists in covering reception (if needed), complete clerical projects utilizing Microsoft Office software, operates office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, computers and other equipment. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Three (3) years experience in office and/or clerical


• Bilingual (Preferred but not required)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CHARACTERISTICS PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of general clerical and record-keeping techniques.


• Knowledge of standard office practices, principles and methods.


• Knowledge of filing methods and procedures.


• Skill in the use of a personal computer and related software.


• Skill in English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.


• Skill in verbal and written communication.


• Skill in following oral and written instructions.


• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
