THE JOB:

As a Receiving/Tagging Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and verifying all inbound merchandise against receiving documents. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Receive all inbound merchandise to include verifying merchandise against receiving documents, perform counts, inspect for damage and ticket products
• Prepare orders for delivery, include palletizing and shrink-wrapping totes/boxes, and load orders onto trucks
• Perform the put‐away function using the forklift, electric pallet jack, and/or manual pallet jack Pickup and package orders while using the electric order pickers
• Prepare SKU labels, bar codes, and price labels/hang tags, tag/mark all unticketed merchandise
• Prepare merchandise for shipment including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material, and receiving and unpacking merchandise
• Transport merchandise from distribution center to appropriate properties and deliver merchandise to appropriate loading dock, stock room, or store Load and unload delivery trucks
• Prepare the distribution center for inventory taking and participate in the inventory taking process

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Retail shipping and receiving experience and/or previous stockroom or marking room experience Preferred
• Experience operating a forklift Preferred
