This role performs general office tasks such as answering the phone, greeting guests, keeping records, filing, and data entry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Undertake all front desk and clerical duties as assigned, including answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, and making sure they feel welcome and get the assistance they need and always displaying a professional impression.
· Welcome all visitors to IMI, ensure proper sign in process, and notify the IMI employee expecting the visitor of their arrival.
· Answer the main phone line for IMI and direct all phone calls accordingly.
· Maintain customer and supplier files.
· Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
· Crosstrain on all customer service functions.
· Answer calls from customers placing orders over the phone.
· Sending tracking information and invoices to customers.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Bilingual English and Spanish (oral and written) required.
· Front desk experience is helpful but not required.
Physical / Mental Demands:
· Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
· Work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be alert, able to concentrate, and use good judgment.
· Physical activity includes walking, sitting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
