Clerk Sales Lead - FT

Sales leads are responsible for performing all the duties of a sales clerk, such as answering customer questions, stocking shelves, setting up displays, ringing up merchandise on the cash register and cleaning. They 

also fulfill many managerial tasks such as assisting with receiving merchandise and ordering supplies. Lead Sales Clerks will also help with returns or exchanges in the absence of the Manager. 

• Performs all the duties of a sales clerk with additional responsibility of being able to too perform returns or exchanges 
• Assist Store Manager with receiving merchandise, ticketing, stocking and organizing inventory.
• Assist Store Manager with merchandising displays, cleanliness, and organization of the store.
• Helps monitor inventory levels
• Ensure proper pricing of merchandise and that product is inventory correctly
• In the absence of the Manager can assist with customer issues or complaints. 
• Assist with scheduling as needed.

• Must have One (1) cash handling experience.
• One (1) year of prior experience as a Sales Clerk in a retail store preferred.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Comfortable using a computer – Experience on point of sale system i.e. Micros. Inventory system experience a plus.
