Client Care Coordinator (MSW/LMSW) - Start Now

Our client is a well known NYS housing organization which specializes in providing housing for single parents, couples and those in extreme need. They are currently looking for an LMSW or MSW Client Care Coordinator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to identify family strengths and service requirements.
• Lead team discussions to review and analyze biopsychosocial assessments collaboratively.
• Provide essential short-term counseling, crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and psycho-education to families in need.
• Perform thorough risk assessments and liaise with child welfare agencies, such as the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), for cases involving child welfare.
• Advocate for families during ACS conferences and facilitate referrals and community linkages as necessary.
• Organize and lead group sessions tailored to specific demographics, fostering community and familial support.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with service providers to ensure families receive high-quality, engaging services.

Requirements:

• Registered New York State LCSW License (MSW fine with contingent to obtain license within one year of hiring).
• M – F 9-5 Schedule (w/ occasionally Saturdays required).
• Spanish speaking preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in child/adolescent development on a emotional and behavioral level and family dynamics.

Please note- The annual base salary range is $55k to $70k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
