Job Description - Client Development Lead _ Business Development


Client Development Lead                
$85,000 - $105,000 a year - Full-time

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who thrives on connecting people, spotting opportunity, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.
 
The Role
G3 Quality is seeking a Client Development Lead – Quality Control to expand and strengthen our contractor relationships and drive repeat QC business.
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk sales role. It’s for someone who enjoys being in the market, staying close to project teams, and working cross-functionally to bring structure and follow-through to opportunities from early identification through handoff to operations.
You will play a key part in making our work more predictable, proactive, and aligned with capacity.
 
What You’ll Own
  • Develop and grow relationships with general contractors, estimators, and project teams
  • Identify upcoming projects, bid opportunities, and repeat work
  • Keep G3 engaged early so we can plan staffing and support clients effectively
  • Coordinate proposals, qualifications, and bid submissions
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and pipeline visibility
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and operations leaders to align scope, schedule, and resources
  • Represent G3 Quality professionally in meetings, calls, and industry interactions
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Experience in the A/E/C or construction industry (materials testing & inspection is a plus)
  • You’re naturally relationship-driven and comfortable initiating conversations
  • Strong communicator who can build trust with both field and office teams
  • Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in fast-moving environments
  • Comfortable reviewing RFPs and technical project information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM or tracking system experience preferred
  • Self-starter who follows through and keeps opportunities moving
