Business Development & Pursuit Leadership
- Lead high-value and complex pursuits within the Healthcare & Research division, from early-stage discovery through award.
- Build deep, trust-based relationships with decision-makers, brokers, architects, and client partners.
- Serve as primary pursuit leader for assigned opportunities, developing strategies that differentiate OSC and address client priorities.
- Maintain situational awareness of market activity, trends, competitors, and key stakeholders across the healthcare and research landscape.
- Represent OSC at industry events, professional organizations, and networking functions, serving as a visible ambassador for the division.
- Partner with Division Leaders and Marketing to develop tailored pursuit materials, proposals, and interview strategies.
Client Relationship Development
- Serve as a consistent point of contact for healthcare and research clients throughout the pursuit and project lifecycle.
- Apply OSC’s Bronze, Silver, Gold client framework to strategically manage and elevate relationships.
- Champion OSC’s Raving Fans philosophy, ensuring client experiences consistently exceed expectations.
- Stay engaged post-award to ensure project execution strengthens long-term client relationships and generates repeat business.
- Support milestone events, surveys, thank-you initiatives, and post-project engagement strategies.
Strategic Collaboration
- Maintain accurate Salesforce data for all healthcare and research pursuits, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Capture and analyze intelligence on decision-makers, influencers, competitors, timelines, and budgets.
- Support forecasting efforts, trend analysis, and pipeline health reporting specific to the Healthcare & Research divisio
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial construction, business development, or client engagement with a focus on healthcare and/or research facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to secure major projects and cultivate lasting client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and research market dynamics, including regulatory, operational, and design considerations.
- Proven pursuit leadership skills with experience developing winning strategies for complex opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits.
