Symphonic Distribution is a 100% independent music distribution and marketing company headquartered in downtown Tampa, FL, and with offices in Brooklyn, Nashville, and Bogota, Colombia. The Client Marketing Coordinator will work full-time out of our Nashville, TN, location and will come with some solid perks, as well as ensuring that, as an individual, you have the proper work/life balance.



In a Nutshell //


Symphonic’s Client Marketing Coordinator will work to increase client visibility to DSPs and end listeners. The Client Marketing Coordinator’s responsibilities will center around supporting all of the essential functions of the Client Marketing Team, including building the Company’s third-party playlisting relationships, promoting Symphonic-owned playlists, tracking the impact of the team’s pitching efforts, and more. Additionally, the Client Marketing Coordinator will work diligently with the Client Marketing team to help provide meaningful marketing guidance and liaise with best-in-class service providers in the industry. 



Compensation //


$16.25/hr to $21.25/hr depending on experience.



What you will do //



  • Find and utilize other playlist/feature submission platforms and other diverse, integrated marketing services tools across the music industry.

  • Help to build the profile of Company-owned playlists and explore creative ways to increase playlist reach

  • Assist with Symphonic’s client support functions with relation to marketing - resolving concerns, gathering information from clients’ inquiries, and passing the client on to the appropriate service lane

  • Maintain the team’s pitch efforts as they relate to our video and user-generated content (UGC)  partners

  • Aid in all other Marketing Services team work, including some administrative duties

  • On occasion, represent Symphonic Distribution at festivals, showcases, presentations, mixers, and other events, and produce live social media content 

  • On occasion, train marketing interns on projects and/or initiatives 

  • Other duties as assigned



What you need to have //  



  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role

  • Passion for music 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite

  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Self starter 

  • Great time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills



What will set you apart //



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, New Media, or Public Relations 

  • An understanding of and passion for streaming music trends

  • A proven track record of thinking beyond the box to reach growth goals

  • An insatiable desire to keep in front of the latest trends in digital marketing and streaming

  • A working expertise in the art of effective use of social media

  • Highly creative 

  • A familiarity with Airtable

  • Previous experience in the music industry

  • This role will report to the Vice President, Client Marketing & DSP Relations.

  • This position is hybrid, reporting to the Nashville, TN, location.
