Client Operations Manager
Atlanta, GA (onsite) Overview: We're seeking a Client Operations Manager to join our team immediately. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth service delivery to our business clients, directly impacting our daily value provision. You'll communicate effectively, manage onboarding and transition processes, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead client onboarding and transition activities, updating systems and making operational recommendations.
- Organize and lead meetings with internal and external parties, ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Act as the central point of contact for institutional client operational requests.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams to drive client servicing and resolve operational issues.
- Serve as a conduit between Relationship Managers and Investment Services teams.
- Respond promptly and accurately to client requests, liaising with relevant areas of the business.
- Provide leadership and oversight of operational processes, improving internal processes as needed.
- Contribute to the firm's Client Order Management process and execute new client mandates.
- Provide regular briefings to the Head of COM on significant issues and escalate potential failures to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely production of metrics.
- Stay updated on market and regulatory changes, participating in industry meetings.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Investment Operations experience in asset management.
- 5+ years of client service experience in asset management.
- 5+ years of Account Onboarding and Transitions experience.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to influence without authority.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Initiative and drive to continuously improve.
- Ability to make decisions and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong understanding of investment operations, regulatory issues, and systems.
- Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data effectively.
- Comfortable working through complex project requirements with internal and external partners.
- Familiarity with cross-divisional issues and prioritization.
- Broad asset management product knowledge.
- Familiarity with existing client products would be beneficial.
