Job Description - Client Relations Specialist

Job description:
We are looking for a highly organized and driven individual to assist the premier private lender in Texas. We’re growing quickly with satellite offices located in California and Tennessee. You’ll get to work with a fun, fast-paced team in our Nashville area office while helping to improve retention and the overall borrower experience.The Client Relations Specialist plays a key role in delivering outstanding service to borrowers while supporting the broader Servicing and Asset Management team. This position requires a self-starter who communicates professionally, manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and consistently demonstrates strong organization and attention to detail. Responsibilities include maintaining open communication with borrowers and account executives, managing inbound calls and departmental inboxes, performing accurate data entry and reconciliation, and conducting proactive borrower outreach. The ideal candidate brings a positive, solutions-oriented mindset and thrives on building strong relationships while contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers post-closing, building rapport and guiding them through the life of their loan(s).
    • Manage departmental inboxes and incoming calls, ensuring timely responses and proper routing of borrower requests.
    • Address borrower inquiries related to payments, insurance, extensions and loan status, including proactive outreach on high-risk or time-sensitive matters.
    • Maintain accurate borrower records, correspondence, and loan updates in the CRM and Loan Origination System (LOS).
    • Coordinate with internal teams, sales, and sub-servicers to resolve issues and streamline borrower communication.
    • Monitor payment activity and assist in resolving ACH or NSF issues in partnership with the Servicing team.
    • Collaborate with the Servicing & Asset Management team to enhance processes, strengthen borrower relationships, and improve client satisfaction.
    • Consistently uphold company standards for professionalism, responsiveness, and accuracy in all interactions.

    • Experienced in high-volume, customer-facing roles with a focus on service and relationship management
    • Demonstrated success in a high-volume, customer-facing role
    • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally
    • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Desired Skills

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
    • Prior experience in lending, loan servicing, or financial services
    • Familiarity with hard money or private lending practices a plus
    • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot experience highly valued)
    • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to build reports and analyze data
    • Knowledge of loan documentation, compliance, or asset management practices
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a financial services environment
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up setting with evolving processes
