Client Relationship Lead - Business Development

Loot Rentals is hiring a Client Relationship Lead for our Dallas/Fort Worth location! This sales position is focused on the key role of business development and relationship-building for Loot. This position is the Loot ambassador to the professional community; the ideal candidate will embody our culture, bringing the energy and warmth from the Loot showroom to the community and providing unparalleled service to all our clients. 

This is a hybrid remote position. Approximately 75% of the time is spent outside of the office meeting with venues and planners and attending events, and approximately 25% is spent in the office conducting meetings with clients and business partners.

Responsibilities: 

• Forging relationships for Loot within Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and beyond our community, especially among Event Planners and Event venues


• Attending industry events and networking events, which may include evenings and weekends


• Business development planning 


• Taking clients through the Loot sales process, including
  
  
  
  • Identifying new business and upsell opportunities
  
  
  • Presenting Loot’s unique value proposition
  
  
  
  


• Participate in the ideation and execution of partnership incentive programs


• Working with other departments on creating, promoting, and hosting open-house events 


• Following up on leads


• Working with our inventory and invoicing software to create orders 


• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM


• Managing showroom visits along with the sales coordinator 

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of the DFW social landscape


• 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience (event or related industry preferred but not required)


• Achievement of sales goals 


• Team player


• Writing and verbal communication skills


• Advanced computer skills


• CRM discipline


• Excellent customer service skills


• Reliable transportation


• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required


• Design experience preferred but not required


• Ability to work nights/weekends

Compensation: 

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role ranging $24,000 - $34,000 per year base plus commission, total compensation goal is $65,000 - $75,000.
