Job Description - Client Relationship Manager

Position Summary:

The position is located in our office in Houston, TX. The role of Client Relationship Manager is a key role on our team. This individual is responsible for developing strong relationships with our clients, servicing their daily transactional needs and being proactive in doing what is in the best interests of our clients at all times. The position requires a strong track record of success in client communication, laser focus on details, collaboration with team members and the ability to be self-motivated to achieve individual objectives and goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, hard-working, reliable and accountable. Position Responsibilities:

·

Answer all incoming phone calls and assist clients and prospective clients with requests, transactions, and resolving inquiries.
·

Develop and cultivate relationships with all clients to understand their goals and objectives and be proactive in exceeding their expectations.
·

Manage the new client onboarding process to include account opening paperwork, statements, login access, ACAT’s and documentation of data.
·

Update client data, as needed, and maintain electronic database of records and information.
·

Understand and follow firm processes, always looking for opportunities to improve for the benefit of the client and our team.
·

Schedule prospective client meetings for advisors, assist in pre-meeting preparation and post-meeting follow-up.
·

Assist clients with financial data input into our financial planning software and assist advisors with the financial planning process, as needed.
·

Manage lists throughout the year for client RMD’s, age 65, tax lost harvesting, etc..
·

Manage the client review calendar, schedule all client meetings, and conduct pre-meeting preparation and financial data updates.
·

Assist the firm with marketing processes in print and social media.
·

Adhere to firm and regulatory compliance requirements at all times.
·

Perform administrative support duties as needed for advisors, CEO and COO.

Education & Experience:

·

Series 65 or Series7/Series 66 preferred
·

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry (broker/dealer, RIA, Independent, fund manager, fund company, etc.) preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

·

Strong industry knowledge of financial transaction processes and procedures including ACAT’s, money transfers, RMD’s, etc.
·

Knowledge of various account types such as IRA’s, Roth IRA, Trusts, etc.
·

Experience working with Charles Schwab as custodian preferred, not required.
·

Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software required.
·

Experience with Orion Advisor Services software preferred, not required.
·

Advanced Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills preferred.
·

Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
·

Must have a proven track-record of success in delivering consistent contributions to team goals.
·

Detail oriented and proactive with the skills to identify ways to improve and enhance processes for the betterment of the firm and clients.
·

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary $50-75k
·

Performance based bonus up to 25% of annual salary
