Job Description - Client Service Associate, Institutional

Overview: 


The Client Service team connects Guidepoint’s clients with subject-matter experts to better inform their business decisions. They take the time to understand each client’s specific research needs and deliver the experts closest to the topic, often within hours. 


Play a vital role in Guidepoint’s success.


As an Associate on the Client Service team, you will understand your client’s unique business questions and identify the experts who can best provide the answers. You will find and recruit new experts into our network of over 1,750,000 Guidepoint Advisors, determining which ones are best suited to speak with the client. The Associate role provides a unique opportunity to put core business skills into practice, as well as gain exposure to a wide range of industries and disciplines through conducting research projects on behalf of major financial institutions


This is a hybrid position and can be based out of our Phoenix or San Francisco offices

What You Will Own:



  • Work with Project Managers to develop strategies for satisfying each client project request

  • Utilize LinkedIn, press releases, case studies, and the internet to identify the best experts for our clients to get their strategic or investment questions answered

  • Identify the best leads and invite them to join our network to participate in consultations with our clients

  • Screen experts to determine their suitability for each specific client project and develop professional profiles to present to your clients


Experience You Will Bring:



  • Bachelor’s degree, with strong academic track record

  • Previous internship/volunteering/extracurriculars

  • Work authorization required


Skills You Will Bring:



  • Desire to work in a sourcing/lead generation type of role

  • Interest in finance, banking, and/or business consulting

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Outgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levels

  • Comfortability with outreach responsibilties including Linkedin messaging and warm/cold phone calls

  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team



What We Offer:


The annual base salary for this position is $70,000 in San Francisco and $55,000 in Phoenix. Additionally, this position is eligible for a yearly bonus of up to $4,000 based on performance.

Base salary may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
