Job Description - Client Service Representative, Employee Benefits

Position Overview

The Client Service Representative will assist insurance producers in servicing client needs, including the recording of annual enrollments, add & terms and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist insurance producers in servicing client needs
Lead open-enrollment communications with insurance carriers
Assist client HR and benefits personnel with insurance-carrier communications
Assist client employees with insurance-carrier appeals

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, preferred
Experience group health insurance and other employee benefits required
Minimum of one year of insurance client service experience
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to prioritize
Excellent communication skills
Active listener with a service orientation (actively seek ways to help people)
Excellent phone etiquette
Effective email communication skills
Skilled with Microsoft Office and client-relationship or agency-management software
Spanish proficiency, a plus
