Reports To: EKY Talent Network Manager
The Client Services Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for job seekers, ensuring they receive personal support and guidance throughout their journey in the EKY Talent Network. This position emphasizes client services, including intake, assessment, and relationship-building, while representing SOAR and the EKY Talent Network in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake and assessments to identify client goals, barrriers, and opportunities.
- Build supportive, trust-based relationships with motivated job seekers.
- Provide resume assistance, interview preparation, and referrals to training and digital skill resources.
- Represent SOAR and the EKY Talent Network at community events, including job and resource fairs, high school visits, area technology centers, and college or university engagements.
- Track client progress and outcomes in HubSpot to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up.
- Collaborate with SOAR teammates to strengthen client pipelines into the Talent Network
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in social services, workforce development, education, communications, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in client services, case management, career advising, or workforce development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client information and track progress using CRM or database tools (HubSpot experience a plus).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally for community engagement events.
- Knowledge of workforce development, career readiness, or employment services.
- Public speaking and presentation skills for representing SOAR at schools, job fairs, and community events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Regular and reliable attendance required.
- Must be able to handle prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or standing at an event.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing resume assistance, interview preparation, or employment coaching.
- Familiarity with digital skills training resources and referral processes.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to create trust-based connections with job seekers.
