Client Services and Recruitment Coordinator – Drive Donor Engagement and Support Customer Relations in Life Sciences!

Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Services and Recruitment Coordinator to serve as on-site support for our Senior Customer Services Representative and lead our donor recruitment efforts. This role offers a challenging opportunity to engage with donors and customers, drive recruitment campaigns, and support order management and coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruiting efforts to identify and bring in valuable donors for whole blood, source plasma, and specialty draws.
  • Manage and lead larger recruiting campaigns to increase the general donor population.
  • Assist with order entry and manages Purchase Orders (POs) by reviewing, confirming, and following through the whole manufacturing process.
  • Managing Specialty “Whole Blood” and “Reagent Cell” Orders; coordinate with various department personnel, as appropriate.
  • Properly informing the laboratory and production departments of necessary steps for particular PO’s.
  • Contributes to customer outreach efforts and account management by handling certain customer communications.
  • Participates and develops activities of specific programs targeting specialty donors, disease state campaigns, and other engagement and recruitment efforts aligned with the company vision.
  • Offer extra incentives to donors within agreed parameters.
  • Responsible for reporting any discrepancies or incidents into the QMS system.
  • Responsible for performing functions assigned in BambooHR & the QMS in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Discern when extra help is needed in order to process donors more safely, efficiently and/or effectively, and help complete tasks where trained.
  • Assists management in any other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school degree required. College graduates preferred with interest in life sciences, healthcare and clinical laboratory.
  • Licenses: None required.
  • Experience and Training: Experience in Blood Banking or clinical laboratory (hematology/serology) highly desired. Knowledge/experience with clerical office setting preferred. Skilled in Microsoft functionalities, typing, computer operation, verbal and written communication, filing, and general office functions. Experience with Sage, Quickbooks, and other accounting software is preferable.
  • Self-organization, proactive, and capable of conducting both donor and customer outreach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in data entry and system management.
  • Flexibility to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Must be able to read efficiently, write legibly, and speak English fluently.
  • Must maintain a clear background check and remain Drug-Free.
  • Must be able to effectively operate a computer to be able to consistently and accurately perform online training requirements, access performance evaluations, request PTO, sign relevant documentation and report and engage with the QMS.
