Job Description - Client Services Specialist - Home Care Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities:

The Client Service Specialist – Home Care Staffing Coordinator provides overall non-clinical management of a group of patients as organized and assigned, making sure the patients are safe in their homes with adequate staff and that nursing personnel are operating effectively with physician orders.

Receives and coordinates home care and staffing referrals, including appropriate authorization
Coordinates case coverage by scheduling and assigning qualified staff, including managing cancellations and schedule changes
Ensures adequate field staff coverage for current and growing patient caseloads
Supports recruitment by assisting new hires with background checks, drug screens, and fingerprinting.
Ensures compliance with licensure and credentialing requirements
Conducts orientation for new hires, introducing company policies, procedures, and expectations.
Counsels field staff on non-clinical policy violations
Initiates and investigates complaints or service failures, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution
Upholds and models awesome company standards in all interactions
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

Ability to perform all essential duties with a high-level professionalism and attention to detail
1+ year of experience providing direct service to patients, clients, or customers
1+ year of experience in home care or healthcare staffing
Knowledge of commercial insurance and private pay preferred
Strong problem-solving skills in an office/patient care setting
High School graduate with an associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
College degree strongly preferred.
