Position Overview
As a key member of our Business Development team and working closely with our Genetic Improvement Operations team, the Client Success Associate will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with clients by managing their onboarding process, providing ongoing support, identifying potential issues, and ensuring they achieve their desired outcomes while using CAT services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support CAT clients based all over the world, ultimately aiming to increase customer retention and satisfaction through proactive engagement and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main liaison between clients and internal operations teams, ensuring timely and effective communication.
Guide clients through the onboarding process, helping them understand our services and how they align with their goals.
Provide technical and logistical support, including assisting with sample submissions, and follow-up inquiries.
Monitor client accounts to ensure satisfaction, address concerns proactively, and identify opportunities for additional services.
Collaborate with sales, laboratory, and R&D teams to resolve client issues and improve service delivery.
Maintain accurate client records and generate reports to track success metrics.
Contribute to the development of training materials, FAQs, and support documentation.
Qualifications
Must-have:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, genetics, aquaculture, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish, with a customer-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and explain complex scientific concepts
Passion for aquaculture, sustainability, and genetic sciences
Preferred:
Previous experience in a client-facing role, preferably in biotechnology, aquaculture, or a related industry
Experience in project management using Click Up or similar project management tools
Proficiency in CRM software and other customer support tools
