Job Description - Client Support Technician

Seeking a Client Support Technician to provide a full range of on-site and remote end-user support for the MDAH network. The resource will be expected to repair desktop PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices, as well as:

Install, configure, and update operating systems and office applications.

Respond to help desk requests via phone, chat, or in person.

Log, track, and resolve issues using ticketing systems.

Set up new workstations and manage onboarding or offboarding tasks, including user account creation and permission setups.

Maintain inventory records for hardware, software licenses, and IT supplies.

Escalate complex or network-wide issues to senior system or network administrators

Requirements

Skills	Required/Preferred	Years	Candidate Experience
High School diploma, vocational training, or an Associates / Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science	Required	4+
Relevant IT support or service desk experience	Required	4+
Knowledge of Windows 10/11, MS Office 365, Azure / Active Directory, basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and endpoint security tools.	Required	4+
Strong communication, patience, customer service mindset, and problem-solving skills.	Required	4+
CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or MS credentials	Preferred
