Description
As part of the LIFE's Senior Services PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team, we perform a vital service by providing primary care for Tulsa's aging population. Our amazing team of professional’s job is to provide services and oversight to keep participants in their homes for as long as safely possible. Most participants have numerous chronic conditions and have had minimal healthcare in the past.
As a LIFE Senior Services Clinic Assistant, you should have: A genuine desire to work with older adults, and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with them and their caregivers while presenting a caring, friendly attitude is a must, and LIFE’s Clinic Assistant is expected to demonstrate daily a commitment to the organization's Core Values of:

· Greet and welcome each individual in a friendly, warm and professional manner.
· Answer each incoming call in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
· Reception duties include distribution of incoming calls to the appropriate clinic staff.
· Performs various clerical or administrative functions such as answering phones and interoffice correspondence.
· Routine and repetitive secretarial/clerical duties including processing of documents as requested by supervisor and Medical Director
· Provides a daily schedule of clinic appointments.
· Maintains current list of LIFE PACE clinical forms and updates as designated by supervisor.
· Routine documentation to participant electronic health record of appointment arrangements.
· Submit transportation requisitions for those participants requiring transport to and from scheduled clinic appointment.
· Schedule semi-annual assessments for PACE participants in clinic.
· Maintains scheduling and calendar for semi-annual assessments as assigned.
· Maintains reception area in neat and orderly condition.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· High Diploma and/or GED
· Minimum one-year of experience working in an office environment, preferable a busy medical office and/or clinic.
· Minimum one-year recent experience working with a frail or elderly population.
· Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred.

This is a Safety Sensitive position requiring candidates to have:
· a background check,
· a pre-employment physical and drug test,
· Tb screen,
· First Aid and CPR certification.
