Description
The Clinic Nurse in the Outpatient Oncology department is responsible for supporting the clinical team by managing patient communications, assisting with administrative tasks, and providing hands-on nursing care when necessary. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth clinic operations by addressing voicemail and task box messages, managing CareSpace communications, and collaborating with other departments. The Clinic Nurse will also assist with overflow patient care, such as administering injections, and ensure seamless communication between nursing staff, providers, and ancillary teams.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
· Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Competence in managing patient communications and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
· Technical: Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and experience with CareSpace or similar patient communication platforms is preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program.
· Licensure: Current, valid LVN license in the state of practice.
· Experience: Prior experience in a clinical setting, oncology experience preferred but not required.
