The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality clinical care, patient education, care coordination, and support services. This role ensures safe, efficient patient flow and promotes a positive patient experience while working collaboratively with providers, medical assistants, behavioral health staff, and front-office personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Patient Support
Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, history review, medication reconciliation, and symptom evaluation.
Administer medications, injections, vaccines, and treatments per provider orders and clinic protocols.
Provide patient education on medications, follow-up care, chronic conditions, and treatment plans (non-diagnostic).
Conduct telephone triage and relay provider-approved instructions to patients.
Maintain awareness of patient acuity and escalate concerns to providers promptly.
Documentation & Compliance
Document all patient interactions in eClinicalWorks (eCW) accurately and timely.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, state nursing regulations, and clinic policies.
