Job Summary
Position Overview: As a Clinic Office Assistant at Credent Care LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall functioning of the clinic.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk Operations:
Greet and assist patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area.
Patient Registration and Records:
Collect and verify patient information during check-in.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Assist in the completion of required forms and documentation.
Appointment Scheduling:
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, optimizing the use of clinic resources.
Communicate appointment details to patients, including date, time, and any specific instructions.
Administrative Support:
Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless clinic operations.
Billing and Payment Processing:
Support billing processes by verifying and inputting charges.
Assist patients with billing inquiries and facilitate payment transactions.
Staff File Maintenance:
Maintain and update staff files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR policies.
Assist in the onboarding process for new staff, collecting and organizing required documentation.
Coordinate training and certification records for clinic staff.
Compliance and Confidentiality:
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Adhere to clinic policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology and basic knowledge of insurance processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using office software and electronic medical records systems.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
