Job Description - Clinical Director

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to lead and manage our autism services program. The Clinical Director will oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care, and drive continuous improvement in services provided to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role includes leadership, supervision, program development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and direction for all autism-related services, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other therapeutic interventions.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other clinical staff.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, ethical standards, and funding requirements.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and data-driven goals.

  • Monitor clinical outcomes and ensure fidelity to treatment protocols and best practices.

  • Lead ongoing training and professional development for clinical staff.

  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support client progress and generalization of skills.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and the growth of autism services within the organization.

  • Manage clinical documentation and reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.

  • Represent the organization in community outreach, partnerships, and advocacy efforts related to autism services.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

  • Current BCBA certification and licensure (as applicable by state).

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience working with individuals with autism, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and other evidence-based practices in autism treatment.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with families, staff, and external partners.

  • Passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in clinical program development and scaling services.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records and data analysis tools.

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
