Job Description - Clinical Director - Behavioral Health

Explore an opportunity to join a team of highly qualified professionals. We are seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Clinical Director to provide direct clinical supervision of designated services in our Idaho Falls,ID office. 



Position Overview


Under the direction of the CBHO and the Clinical Services Administrator, the Clinical Director administers all aspects of the Behavioral Health program delivery in assigned area(s) and participates on a Clinical Leadership Team to improve the quality and coordination for all clinical and administrative functions provided by High Country Behavioral Health.  Depending on the number of supervisees, will maintain a caseload of clients.  


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Lead the onsite treatment team while monitoring documentation quality assurance.

  • Hold staff accountable for performance measures including, but not limited to, productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities, etc.


  • Administrative Supervision - Facilitates a weekly team meeting where information can be shared and clinical cases can be consulted on. 


  • Crisis Management and On-Call - Participate in virtual on-call services


  • Champions Feedback Informed Therapy


  • Public Relations - Develops and maintains working relationships with Community Stakeholder


  • Oversees Releases of Information - Review the Release of Information requests and subpoenas that come in under assigned areas using company standards


  • Recruit and Retain Service Providers - Work closely with Human Resources during recruitment process, candidate selection, and onboarding and training.



Candidate Qualifications and Experience



  • Must be licensed as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC) in the state of Wyoming.

  • Three years of experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality/ health improvement in a managed care organization or provider group or governmental agency or similar setting preferred.


  • Knowledge and demonstrated competence in planning, budget, and other administrative duties.


  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to function in a team-based environment.


  • Successful completion of HCBH pre-employment screening and background check.


  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.


  • Has a valid driver’s license and eligible for HCBH insurance coverage(s).


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.


  • Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement programs to their completion in a fast-paced environment.


  • Knowledge of licensing and contract requirements and ability to see those requirements are met.


  • Knowledge and experience demonstrating competence in treatment including administering clinical evaluations; treatment planning; making appropriate referrals; service coordination; counseling with individuals, group, and couples/families; client, family, and community education; documentation practices; and professional and ethical responsibilities.
