Why work with us:

Join a mission-driven team delivering world-class behavioral healthcare through deep partnerships with community health centers. You’ll help expand access to high-quality, evidence-based care for underserved populations while working with communities that know and trust their local providers.

What our ideal new team member looks like:

A dedicated, values-driven clinical leader who is passionate about integrated behavioral health, community partnership, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. Someone who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and is excited by the opportunity to help build and shape a program—not simply work a standard 9–5 role. This person brings strong clinical expertise, operational acumen, and a collaborative spirit aligned with a mission-first startup environment.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director leads the delivery of an intensive outpatient program (IOP) embedded within Federally Qualified Health Centers. The program serves adults with Substance Use Disorder (SUD), often with co-occurring mental health conditions, and operates using a DBT-based therapeutic model. Group sizes are capped at 12 participants and offered in morning and evening sessions. This role ensures clinical excellence, strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and effective integration with all FQHC care providers. The program will begin with adults and is expected to expand to teens and younger populations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the clinical operations of an IOP delivered through FQHC partnerships, ensuring quality, consistency, and strong patient outcomes
  • Oversee a multidisciplinary team including therapists, case managers, and community health workers
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and coaching to support high-quality care and professional growth
  • Maintain strong partnerships with interdisciplinary providers within the FQHC, ensuring seamless integration of patient care
  • Support referrals, provider engagement, and program participation through proactive relationship-building
  • Ensure groups run effectively, following a DBT-based model with groups capped at 12 participants
  • Oversee morning (9:00 AM–12:00 PM) and evening (4:00–7:00 PM or 5:00–8:00 PM) group operations
  • Ensure services meet the needs of a predominantly Medicaid population, including bilingual and dual-diagnosed patients
  • Collaborate with leadership on program design, workflow optimization, and clinical product development
  • Monitor KPIs including referral volume, provider satisfaction, and staff engagement
  • Represent the organization in the field to strengthen partnerships, improve workflows, and drive innovation
  • Support long-term planning for program expansion into additional age groups and service lines

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Licensed behavioral health clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCPC, or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in behavioral health or integrated care, including leadership responsibilities
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams
  • Strong background collaborating with interdisciplinary provider teams
  • Understanding of community health center operations and value-based care
  • Proven ability to support referral growth and maintain strong provider relationships
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a mission-driven, field-based environment

If you meet all of our criteria and would like to be considered, please apply with your most updated Resume/CV.

A cover letter and references are preferred but optional. Candidates available to start by January 1, 2026 or sooner are welcome. We look forward to meeting with you!
