Location: Albuquerque, NM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $105,000–$110,000 + $7,500 Sign-On Bonus

Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to oversee hospice clinical operations and guide an interdisciplinary care team. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence within a hospice setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate hospice patient care services.
• Lead and support a team of nurses, aides, social workers, and chaplains.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Conduct chart audits and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support staff onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary care planning meetings.
• Promote quality improvement initiatives and best clinical practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and leadership to enhance patient outcomes and program performance.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of terminal care, symptom management, crisis intervention, and family support.
• Experience with EMR systems and strong computer proficiency.
• Current CPR certification, if required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
