Clinical Field Specialist – Little Rock, AR
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Field Specialist to support healthcare professionals and sales partners across the Little Rock, Arkansas territory (includes all of Arkansas and Shreveport, LA) . This field-based position serves as a clinical and procedural resource, providing education, case support, training, and ongoing clinical expertise to customers.
The ideal candidate is a clinically confident professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment, builds strong relationships with physicians and clinical staff, and is comfortable working alongside a commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a clinical background who is interested in transitioning into or continuing a career within the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on clinical and procedural support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Support procedures and cases within hospitals and other healthcare settings throughout the assigned territory.
Educate and train customers on clinical best practices, procedural techniques, and appropriate use of medical technologies.
Serve as a trusted clinical resource for customers before, during, and after procedures.
Partner closely with the local sales team to support customer needs, account development, and territory objectives.
Conduct in-services, product training, and educational programs for physicians and clinical staff.
Develop strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders and become a reliable resource within assigned accounts.
Assist with new customer onboarding and ongoing clinical education.
Communicate clinical observations, customer feedback, and field insights to internal partners.
Maintain a strong understanding of relevant procedures, disease states, clinical workflows, and industry trends.
Manage a field-based schedule that may include early mornings, changing case schedules, and travel throughout the territory.
Maintain all required documentation and operate in accordance with company, hospital, and regulatory policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; clinical or healthcare-related degree preferred.
Prior experience in a hospital, procedural, surgical, or other clinical environment strongly preferred.
Experience as an RN, clinical specialist, surgical/procedural professional, or medical device clinical representative is highly desirable.
Ability to confidently communicate and build credibility with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Strong presentation, education, and training skills.
Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment while collaborating closely with a sales team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, cases, and priorities.
Ability to learn complex clinical and technical information quickly.
Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Must reside within or near the Little Rock, AR territory and be able to travel throughout the assigned geography.
Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements.
