Clinical Implementation Manager
We are seeking an experienced, mission-driven leader to join our team as the Clinical Implementation Manager. This individual will oversee a team of Clinical Implementation Specialists (CIS) and play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment, adoption, and ongoing utilization of our medical devices across diverse clinical environments.
This leader combines strong clinical insight, exceptional interpersonal skills, and operational excellence. They are energized by the pace and flexibility of an early-stage company and are passionate about improving outcomes for older adults through innovative fall-prevention technology. The Clinical Implementation Manager will shape the customer experience, strengthen internal processes, and drive scalable, high-quality implementation practices nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Clinical Implementation Specialists, fostering a culture of empathy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for CIS team members.
- Establish clear expectations, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
- Conduct regular team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex clinical, operational, or customer-related issues.
2. Implementation Strategy & Execution
- Design and refine scalable implementation processes that ensure successful device adoption across clinical sites.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, Customer Success, Operations) to align implementation activities with company goals.
- Monitor team capacity, assign resources, and ensure timely completion of site visits, trainings, and documentation.
- Maintain deep knowledge of product functionality, updates, and clinical applications to guide both team and customer education.
3. Oversight of Training & Clinical Support
- Ensure CIS team members deliver high-quality training to healthcare staff, patients, and families on device use, maintenance, and safety.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of training materials, knowledge-base resources, and customer education tools.
- Review training outcomes and customer feedback to identify opportunities for refinement.
4. Program Evaluation & Quality Improvement
- Oversee the collection and analysis of implementation data, including patient outcomes, satisfaction, and clinical feedback.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve device utilization and program success.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to communicate field insights and support iterative product improvement.
5. Clinical Partnership & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical leadership, care teams, and administrators across older adult congregate living settings.
- Support CIS team participation in fall-planning meetings, community education events, and interdisciplinary care discussions.
- Represent the company as a clinical and operational expert during customer engagements.
6. Operational Excellence
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety protocols, and all clinical site requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation across all implementation activities.
- Support scheduling, logistics, and travel coordination for the CIS team.
- Contribute to departmental budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, public health, or related field; equivalent clinical experience considered.
- 3–5+ years of experience in clinical implementation, clinical education, or medical device deployment.
- 1–3+ years of experience leading or supervising clinical or field-based teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach others and build trust with clinical partners.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, evaluate program success, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Experience working in older adult care settings or with fall-prevention programs is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel regionally or nationally to support team oversight and customer needs. (Travel expectations 50-75% of working time)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to meet clinical site health and vaccination requirements.
- Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend events.
Preferred
- Experience scaling clinical programs or field teams in a startup or growth-stage company.
- Familiarity with wearable medical devices, remote monitoring technologies, or connected health solutions.
- Strong project management skills and comfort with digital tools and platforms.
