In support of UHPP’s mission, the Clinical Informatics Director will optimize the use of clinical systems through education and training, reporting quality outcomes and providing support in accordance with organizational goals. The Clinical Informatics Director will lead the strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems across the affiliate (UHPP). This role ensures alignment with organizational goals, promotes evidence-based practice, and enhances clinical workflows through informatics solutions. The position serves as a bridge between clinical operations, IT, and leadership, driving performance improvement and user adoption.

Applicants must possess the following qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related field (Master’s preferred, or EPIC experience of at least 2-3 years will be considered in place of Master’s Degree).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Travel:
Up to 25% travel required (between Health Centers). While performing the duties of this job, the employee will have to travel to other work locations at various times. Will attend mandatory trainings and work which will be at various locations and involve travel to alternate locations. Own transportation is required, with a valid driver’s license, inspection, registration and adequate insurance.
