Our client is seeking a Clinical Investigator in Breast Oncology to join their rapidly growing multidisciplinary Breast Oncology Program.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician-scientist or clinically focused academic oncologist who is passionate about advancing breast cancer treatment through clinical excellence, innovative research, and medical education. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of breast cancer care while contributing to impactful clinical and translational research initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with breast cancer in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Participate in and lead clinical trials focused on breast oncology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, genetics, and supportive care services
- Develop and conduct clinical and translational research projects
- Partner with internal and external investigators on innovative breast cancer research initiatives
- Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to the academic mission through scholarly activities, publications, and presentations
- Help expand and strengthen one of the region's premier breast oncology programs
Required Qualifications
- MD or MD/PhD from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Demonstrated expertise in breast oncology clinical care
- Commitment to academic medicine, research, and teaching
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in or leading clinical trials
- Interest in translational and clinical research
- Academic publications and scholarly activity
- Experience teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- Track record of multidisciplinary collaboration
