Position Overview:

Perform critical diagnostic testing in a premier academic medical center. Utilize advanced laboratory techniques to support patient care, research, and education while ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic tests for disease detection/monitoring
• Operate/maintain laboratory equipment
• Analyze specimens and validate results
• Adhere to strict quality control standards
• Document findings in compliance with NYS regulations
• Collaborate with clinical teams on critical results

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
• Licensure: Must have an NYS license/eligible or possess a permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• Experience: 2+ years clinical lab experience (preferred)
• Technical Skills: Must have the ability to distinguish colors.
