Clinical Laboratory Assistant

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant to fill an opening with a prestigious healthcare organization in Lake Mary, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for Clinical Laboratory Assistant:

• Responsible for laboratory testing, quality control, specimen processing, following laboratory assay instructions, phlebotomy, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assess research laboratory kits supply requirements for clinical trials
• Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Required Qualifications for Clinical Laboratory Assistant:

• 2+ years as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
• Must be proficient with computer software programs including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) programs

Preferred Qualifications for Clinical Laboratory Assistant:

• Experience in a laboratory setting highly preferred
• Basic Life Support (CPR) is preferred
