Position Overview

As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant II on our evening team (7:30 PM - 6:00 AM), you'll perform crucial laboratory support functions while ensuring exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct professional phlebotomy procedures with strict adherence to safety protocols • Process and manage laboratory specimens with precision and attention to detail • Perform patient registration and accurate order entry • Execute scheduled courier runs for laboratory materials and medical supplies • Manage specialized specimen handling, including 24-hour urine collections • Maintain inventory control and monitor supply levels • Provide support at Patient Service Centers • Conduct home blood draws with professional care and attention • Handle administrative duties including documentation and communication

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) • Valid driver's license meeting agency standards • Completed CLA 1 competencies plus either: - One year of laboratory experience OR - Current phlebotomy certification • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
