We are seeking a Clinical Leader to become a part of our team! In joining Interim HealthCare's Augusta Georgia Office, you will be taking on the key leadership role of Clinical Leader as the Office's Clinical Manager/Supervising Nurse. As Interim Augusta's Clinical Manager/Supervising Nurse, you will coordinate the care direction, supervision, and health services rendered to both our skilled and unskilled home care patients as well as assist with the delivery of services to our staffing clients which include local & national hospitals, clinics & other similar organizations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION:
- Oversee medical and health service activities and personnel
- Plan and coordinate health services
- Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate healthcare programs
- Conducts and delegates patient admissions, assessment, supervisor visits, and recertifications as required by state, federal, and program regulations
- Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures to ensure patient safety
- Functions as a Clinical partner with respective Business Development partner
- Ensures that competency and skill set of scheduled caregiver match the client requirements regardless of setting
- Provides supervisory oversight of office's patient population, and delegates where appropriate, as needed
- Collaborates with the clinical team to perform documentation review
- Provides education to team members, patients, family members of patients, caregivers, field staff, and referral sources
- Conducts clinical interviews and participates in hiring decisions in collaboration with Clinical Manager, Operations, or other office clinical leader
- Is available for after-hours clinical on-call needs of patients or staff, delegating on-call responsibilities to other Clinical Supervisors as appropriate and applicable
- Accountable to all federal, state, local contracts and programs, and Interim requirements
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Prior experience in clinical management or leadership role, at least 2 years
- Entrepreneurial Mindset & Strong Work Ethic
- Experience providing, directing or supervising patient care in the home setting (e.g. hospice, home care, home health, community nursing, etc.)
- Knowledge of Georgia Medicaid Waiver Programs, preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Demonstrated prior success in growing patient census & healthcare operations, Plus Plus Plus
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (either issued by the State of Georgia or recognized Compact State)
- Minimum one year work experience as a Registered Nurse
- Ability to pass criminal background check as required by state and federal law
- Recent, within last 12 months, clear TB (PPD) screening or Chest X-Ray
- Current BLS Provider CPR Certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must meet all federal, state, local contract and program requirements, in addition to internal certifications and training, as required
