Position Summary:
Unison Health is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Bowling Green Outpatient Site. This position provides clinical supervision to clinicians (social workers, counselors, and case managers) and administrative oversight to a multidisciplinary team. Position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of outpatient programs and works collaboratively with the Crisis Manager to address referrals, staffing, and processes across the continuum of care in Wood County.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
Clinical supervision of LSW’s, LPC’s, and QMHS working in Wood County, including documentation review and co-signing.
Administrative responsibility and oversight of all outpatient services in Wood County, ensuring timely access to care for clients.
Manage programs within agency budgets (including grants), including monitoring staff productivity.
Work collaboratively with the Wood County Manager to address client crises, including a rotation of mobile crisis response.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field required. Licensure as an LPCC or LISW required; supervisory designation preferred.
Direct care experience in mental health/substance abuse is required. Prior supervisor experience preferred.
Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness, crisis management and the ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.
Must demonstrate positive attitude, commitment to provide superior services and enthusiastic support for the mission of the agency.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with community partners and referral sources.
Must demonstrate the ability to represent the agency in a positive manner when in the community.
Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
