Position Summary:

Unison Health is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Bowling Green Outpatient Site. This position provides clinical supervision to clinicians (social workers, counselors, and case managers) and administrative oversight to a multidisciplinary team. Position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of outpatient programs and works collaboratively with the Crisis Manager to address referrals, staffing, and processes across the continuum of care in Wood County.

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:  

• Clinical supervision of LSW’s, LPC’s, and QMHS working in Wood County, including documentation review and co-signing.


• Administrative responsibility and oversight of all outpatient services in Wood County, ensuring timely access to care for clients.


• Manage programs within agency budgets (including grants), including monitoring staff productivity.


• Work collaboratively with the Wood County Manager to address client crises, including a rotation of mobile crisis response.

Education & Experience Requirements: 

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field required. Licensure as an LPCC or LISW required; supervisory designation preferred. 


• Direct care experience in mental health/substance abuse is required. Prior supervisor experience preferred.


• Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness, crisis management and the ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients.


• Must demonstrate positive attitude, commitment to provide superior services and enthusiastic support for the mission of the agency.


• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with community partners and referral sources.


• Must demonstrate the ability to represent the agency in a positive manner when in the community.


• Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
