This position will be providing robust clinical leadership and assimilation of nursing home best practices amongst a multitude of post-acute, faith based, not for profit, Senior Life Plan communities.

Minimum of three to five years’ experience in post-acute/senior care management, Director of Nursing, and/or consultation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
• Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
• Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
• Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
• Creating a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Developing and implementing objectives, policies and procedures.
• Performs quality assessment audits and evaluation of care delivery, communicating results with Administration/Operations on the activities/issues of Nursing Services.
• Assists alignment of policy and procedures with standards of practice and regulations.
• Assists in nurse leadership performance evaluations and development.
• Assists in the development and integration of nursing practice employee safety, risk management and corporate compliance initiatives.
• Supports the development and integration of new and innovative nursing care initiatives.
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• Current license to practice in Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse.
•  Minimum of three to five years’ experience in post-acute/senior care management, Director of Nursing, and/or consultation. 
• Advanced knowledge and clinical skills around long term care.Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
• Ability to relate well to all individuals.
• Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
• Ability to adapt to change.
