Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Nutritionist to assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop personalized diet and nutrition plans, and provide evidence-based nutritional counseling. The candidate will work closely with doctors, healthcare professionals, and other clinical team members to support patients in achieving their health and wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed nutritional assessments, including dietary habits, lifestyle, health history, and nutritional requirements.
Develop personalized meal plans and nutrition interventions based on patients’ health conditions and treatment goals.
Provide nutritional counseling and educate patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle modifications.
Support patients with weight management, metabolic health, digestive health, diabetes, cardiovascular health, and other nutrition-related concerns.
Monitor patients’ progress and revise nutrition plans based on clinical needs and outcomes.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, assessment reports, diet plans, and follow-up notes.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
Review relevant clinical reports and laboratory results within the scope of practice.
Provide practical guidance on portion control, meal timing, food choices, hydration, and sustainable lifestyle changes.
Conduct regular follow-up consultations and address patient concerns.
Develop educational materials, nutrition guides, and health-awareness content.
Conduct workshops, health talks, awareness sessions, and corporate wellness programs when required.
Stay updated on current research, clinical nutrition guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and applicable professional requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Clinical Nutrition, or a related field.
Relevant professional registration, licensing, or certification as required by applicable regulations.
Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, wellness center, healthcare institution, or similar setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, nutritional assessment, and lifestyle management.
Excellent counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with patients.
Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and nutrition assessment or patient-management software is an advantage.
