Argenta is currently looking to fill the role of Clinical Payment Specialist at our Shawnee, KS site.

As Clinical Payment Specialist, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of investigator site payments and general AP/AR administrative support within our CRO Americas Business Units. You will be detail oriented with a collaborative approach. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end site payment process for our CRO Business Units, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.


• Reconcile site-level data from financial systems to generate payment reports.


• Liaise with key stakeholders and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and support payment queries.


• Maintain payment trackers, generate accrual reports, and support monthly financial close processes.


• Process AP / AR transactions ensuring proper coding, documentation, and timely resolution of issues.


• Support vendor onboarding, invoice review, and purchase order tracking in collaboration with internal teams.


• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of investigator site payments.


• Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, scheduling, and internal reporting. 


• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal SOPs, and audit readiness.


• Identify opportunities to improve payment processes and contribute to system enhancements or automation initiatives.
  

About You:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  


• Strong financial acumen. 


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Hands-on experience with AP/AR.


• Proficient in financial systems; strong Excel skills required.


• A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
