Clinical Pharmacist job in JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX

Schedule: Clinic-aligned with rotating on-call responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking Board-Certified Clinical Pharmacists to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services in specialty practice areas at BAMC.

What You’ll Do

Provide direct clinical pharmacy consults and patient care
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds
Perform medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing
Respond to trauma activations, Code Blues, and emergencies
Document clinical recommendations in the medical record
Support antimicrobial stewardship and specialty protocols
Educate providers, residents, and pharmacy staff

What You Need

PharmD from an accredited program
One of the following:
ASHP-accredited PGY-2 residency
PGY-1 + BPS Board Certification
PGY-1 + 3 years clinical experience + BPS Board Certification
Current, unrestricted pharmacist license
Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification
ACLS certification (for acute care specialties)
U.S. Citizenship
Recent hospital-based clinical experience (within last 2 years)
