Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Washington State with a specialization in pediatric neuropsychological assessment to lead and supervise our assessment training program. This unique role combines clinical assessment, supervision, and administrative leadership in a dynamic training environment. You will supervise pre-doctoral interns serving as psychometrists, provide secondary supervision to postdoctoral fellows, and collaborate closely with our Assessment Director.

This is an ideal position for a psychologist who thrives in a teaching and mentoring role, enjoys complex clinical work, and is looking for career stability and leadership growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to pre-doctoral interns completing assessment practicums.
  • Offer secondary supervision and mentorship to postdoctoral fellows.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Assessment on training program development and administration.
  • Assist with interviewing and selection of new interns and fellows annually.
  • Participate in networking and outreach with local graduate programs and universities.
  • Uphold high standards in clinical documentation, ethical practice, and training oversight.
  • Contribute to the growth and future APPIC/APA accreditation efforts for internship and postdoctoral programs.
  • Attend regular team meetings and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.   
  • Licensed (or license-eligible) psychologist in the state of Washington.   
  • Specialized training and clinical experience in pediatric psychological or neuropsychological assessment.   
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision or teaching, particularly with pre-doctoral and/or postdoctoral trainees.   
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.   
  • Passion for training, mentorship, and clinical excellence.   
  • Confidence in clinical skills with a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset.   
  • Comfortable with outreach and enthusiastic about building relationships with local academic institutions.   
  • Available for on-site work in Issaquah, WA (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday).   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in APPIC-approved internship or postdoctoral training sites.   
  • Familiarity with APA accreditation requirements for training programs.   
  • Interest in helping shape and lead a developing training program.   
  • Board certification or interest in board certification in neuropsychology or related specialty.
