We are seeking a Clinical Research Assistant in Grand Island to join our cutting edge, expanding, dedicated, inspiring and caring research team.

This position is responsible for assisting the research team in the implementation and conduct of clinical trials by performing tasks delegated by research team members.

Position Summary

  • With supervision, ensures that clinical trials are conducted according to protocol.
  • Performs proper and accurate sample management, including collection, identification, transport, and/or processing of   biological (blood, urine, etc.) subject samples.
  • Manages study laboratory and shipping supplies.
  • Monitors and Records the temperatures of research dedicated refrigerators, freezers, and additional equipment.
  • Prepares and packages study specimens for shipment and manages package pickup.
  • Creates and maintains accurate records of all protocol activities and events, as delegated and trained.
  • Manages survival visit data entry, registry trials and imaging for patients on trial.
  • Requests tumor samples and schedules tumor biopsies.
  • Pre Screen patients for trial entry.
  • Participates in quality assurance of clinical research projects.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a clinical or scientific related discipline required, bachelors or RN degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience, clinical or scientific related discipline is required.  Oncology experience preferred.
