Job Description - Clinical Respiratory Liaison

Description

PromptCare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Respiratory Liaison to join our team. The CRL will be responsible for in-hospital and in-home respiratory services and education to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders in the respiratory care community. This is a field-based, sales support, hands-on clinical respiratory liaison position that requires a candidate with the drive and skill to be a respiratory care practitioner, patient advocate, and positive representative of PromptCare. The successful candidate must be proficient in all phases of home respiratory services. Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Job Location:  Hollywood, FL and nearby areas within a 50-mile radius or approximately a two-hour drive 

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state inquiring employment with a license in good standing
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standing
  • Current CPR Certification
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a home care respiratory care practitioner
  • Pediatric respiratory background preferred
  • Specific training in mechanical home ventilation is highly desirable

Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to:

  • Collaborates with the patients, family members and PromptCare’ s Intake and Sales teams to facilitate patient discharge and coordination of care in the home
  • Educates patients and their family members about their therapy and supplies, as well as performing effective respiratory services to patients to facilitate discharge to the home
  • Evaluates patient experiences for opportunities to improve customer satisfaction
  • Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information and takes appropriate corrective actions regarding our services to ensure complete satisfaction
  • The ability to initiate and develop good working relationships with patients and family members is essential
  • Plans daily events so as to be as efficient as possible with time management (e.g., minimizes travel time by planning routes ahead of time)
  • Ability to properly triage problems in the field in accordance with company standards and other verbal and written training policies
  • Follow proper procedures for accurate and timely documentation of patient concerns, and most importantly, take appropriate corrective actions
  • Maintains strong knowledge of PromptCare’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistently
  • Maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times
  • Conducts activities with a mindset of delivering “white glove” service to the patients and family members
  • Other duties assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is highly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all, maneuver in small areas and frequently lift and/or move 30 pounds or more.
