Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $125,000.00 - $191,000.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What you will be doing

Operational Oversight & Process Improvement

  • Actively manage the day-to-day throughput of outpatient operations, ensuring smooth throughput across all areas, with a focus on the general waiting area, radiology, and appointments with physicians; identity opportunities to improve and work with respective leadership
  • Serve as the point of contact and decision-maker for ad-hoc schedule requests; coordinate with the Regional Director and Regional Admin Manager to ensure changes are tracked
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings with regional market and service lines teams to identify opportunities to standardize and simplify workflows and processes

People Management & Staff Engagement

  • Utilize all aspects of the performance management cycle (defining expectations, setting goals, providing feedback, coaching, mentoring, corrective action, performance evaluations) to help staff best fulfill their job responsibilities
  • Facilitate the onboarding and coaching of all staff on the team; ensure the continuing education and ongoing assessment of nursing staff, including supervision and verification of clinical competencies
  • Ensure optimized daily/weekly nurse schedules (RNs, LPNs, and PCAs), with the support of the onsite nursing team
  • Oversee and support the Patient Access Services (PAS) Supervisor in managing smooth front end operations, ensure performance of registration meets enterprise standards
  • Serve as timekeeper for all direct reports
  • Develop strategies to foster and maintain a strong culture of teamwork, organizational engagement, and commitment to excellence within the site
  • In collaboration with the Regional Leadership team, create and maintain consistent forums to ensure staff-wide and team-based communication on all relevant topics (e.g. broad organizational updates, new initiatives, survey preparedness)
  • Ensure leadership’s onsite presence during business hours and coverage is arranged for planned and unexpected reasons

Facility Maintenance

  • Conduct Environment of Safety rounds to ensure the site is always in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
  • Ensure identified issues are escalated appropriately to ensure prompt action
  • Support in annual capital budgeting process

Direct Patient Care

  • Providing clinical support to physicians during scheduled office sessions and Presurgical Screening
  • Rooming patients, including preparation for exams, reviewing past medical history, and obtaining patient data
  • Assisting with procedures, including but not limited to suture/staple removal, cast application and removal, EKG, venipuncture, and injections
