Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm CT
Location: Onsite – Eau Claire, WI

Reports To: Regional Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Clinical Services Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients at The Remedy Mental Health. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and supportive environment by managing patient check-ins, coordinating pre-appointment paperwork, and ensuring smooth front-desk operations. As the face of The Remedy, this position plays a key role in shaping the patient experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Greet patients and visitors warmly in person and over the phone; respond to inquiries or direct them to appropriate staff. 

• Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider availability, and efficient use of clinical space. 

• Provide compassionate assistance to patients who are ill or distressed; arrange transportation when needed. 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area. 

• Respond appropriately during medical emergencies, including contacting EMS or arranging ambulance transport. 

• Uphold patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and professionalism. 

• Perform additional administrative or support duties as assigned. 

Required Skills & Abilities: 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. 

• Proficiency in basic office tasks such as typing, filing, and phone etiquette. 

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. 

Education & Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 

• Completion of a certified medical office training program preferred. 

• Equivalent experience, education, or training that demonstrates the required competencies will be considered. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer. 

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
